Two suspects arrested with heroin

Police have arrested two people for possessing heroin.

 One of the suspects was arrested by the Peliyagoda District Crime Division yesterday (23) at around 5.10 pm. Two grams of heroin and 150 milligrams of heroin were seized from the suspect's possession.

 The suspect is a 28 year old resident of Dutugemunu Mawatha in Peliyagoda. 

 The suspect is to be produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court today. Meanwhile another suspect was arrested at the Dematagoda railway crossing with 2 grams of heroin. The suspect was arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division at around 1.20pm yesterday (23) at the Dematagoda railway crossing. The suspect is a 26 year old resident of Arama Place, Dematagoda. 

 The suspect is to be produced before the Maligakanda Magistrate's Court today (24) and further investigations are being conducted by the Colombo Crimes Division.

PM, Former President to meet tomorrow

A meeting between Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and former President Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to take place tomorrow. That was to discuss the proposed new alliance between the SLFP and the SLFP. It is said that a final agreement will be reached regarding the alliance for the next general election.
