A two day workshop for MPs from today

A two day workshop for the Members of Parliament elected to the 9th Parliament will be held today and tomorrow.

The inauguration ceremony will be held under the patronage of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa.

It is said that all the Members of Parliament who have been elected to Parliament this time have been invited for this two day workshop.

Members of Parliament will be briefed on Parliamentary business, parliamentary traditions, parliamentary system and Standing Orders of Parliament.

PM, Former President to meet tomorrow

A meeting between Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and former President Maithripala Sirisena is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
