According to the Jaffna Terrorist Investigation Unit (TID), a bombs, explosives and firearms were found in the Karandiya area in Kilinochchi yesterday (26).

During the search operation, an AK47 firearm, two magazines, 11 grenades, 10 kilos of EP-type explosives, 120 ammunition and a telescope were found.

Accordingly, the Terrorist Investigation Department (TID) in Jaffna has commenced an investigation into the persons who had concealed the weapons and the manner in which the items were recovered.
